Pietra di Bismantova 

Pietra di Bismantova is a part of the Apennine mountain range as well as the National Park of the Apennino Tosco-Emiliano. This is truly an amazing natural experience. The uniquely shaped plateau formations are surrounded by forest, and the area is ideal for hiking.

Parma
The city of Parma is an approximate hour-long drive from Bologna,and it is known for its special ham and cheese. You’ll also find many interesting sights, for example the Palazzo della Pilotta and the Cittadella, which is a large fortress. If you have an interest in food, you definitely won’t want to miss a visit to Parma! There are many great restaurants and local delicacies.

Rimini
Slightly east of Bologna, right by the Adriatic sea, is Rimini. This city is renowned for its beautiful sand beaches, great for swimming and sunbathing. In the centre, there are also many historically interesting buildings, including well-preserved remnants from the Roman Empire. There’s something for everyone in Rimini!
