Where to go around Dubrovnik

Dubrovning is situated on Croatia’s southernmost tip, and there is loads to see and do in the area. For example, there are several wineries in the nearby Konavle Valley as well as many historic and beautiful cities. Below we’ll mention some of our favourite places.

Molunat
Molunat is about an hour’s drive from Dubrovnik and is the southernmost city of Croatia. In this old fishing village, you’ll find small cosy streets with shops and nice restaurants, but also a few swim-friendly sandy beaches. The atmosphere in Molunat is quite relaxing and there are usually not too many tourists.

Cavtat
The beautiful town of Cavtat is just over 9 miles from Dubrovning. The town, which is surrounded by gorgeous landscape, has a long and interesting history. There are many ancient buildings and other sights worth visiting in the city. You’ll also find a few nice beach promenades, where you can fully enjoy both the city and the surrounding landscape.

Korcula
If you drive a little less than 3 hours north of Dubrovnik, you’ll reach the amazing island of Korcula. This island has a very interesting history, and there are some fascinating sights on it. The largest city on the island is Korcula town, which is a particularly exciting experience. The city’s oldest part was built during the Middle ages and is located on a headland. A city wall also surrounds the town, which makes it all the more cosy!
