Our car rental offices in Brisbane
Brisbane is on the eastern coast of Australia. We have several car rental office here and they are all very easy to find.
- Central Brisbane: There are two offices in central Brisbane on Charlotte Street, close to Pacific Motorway. Getting from the offices on to the motorway, to the other parts of the city and to the surrounding area is both easy and convenient.
- Spring Hill: You’ll find three more offices in the area of Spring Hills, slightly north of Charlotte Street. Two of them are on Wickham Street and the third one is on Barry Parade, close to Munro Soccer Fields/William Dart Park. The closest major road is road 15, which is a stone’s throw away from the offices.
- Fortitude Valley: In Fortitude Valley, just northeast of Spring Hills, there is another office with a wide selection of rental cars. You’ll find the office on Ann Street, which is within walking distance from the train station in Fortitude Valley.
Car hire at Brisbane airport
Brisbane airport (airport code: BNE) is less than 10 miles north of central Brisbane, and it is the third busiest airport in the country. The airport services a large number of both international and domestic flights.
Hiring a car at Brisbane airport is both easy and comfortable. Six of the major car rental companies are represented. Their offices are found on the second floor in the international terminal. You’ll also find that getting to and from the airport by car is very convenient.
What to do around Brisbane
Brisbane is the capital of the Australian state of Queensland, which is renowned for its natural beauty. Using Brisbane as a starting point, you’ll find that there are many exciting destinations that are reachable by car. Below we’ve listed some of our favourite spots.
About 25 miles west of central Brisbane, in the National Park D’Augilar, lies the cosy village of Mount Glorious. The village is located in an area with rain forest, which makes for both fantastic views and atmosphere. You will also find a number of nice cafés and walking trails. A drive through the area will give you a gorgeous view of the landscape as well.
Bribie Island National Park
Nationalparken Bribie Island National Park and Recreation Area is about 50 miles north of Brisbane, and is one of the most popular parks on the coast. You are only able to drive on a small bit of the island, the rest you will have to explore on foot using one or more of the many beautiful walking trails. Boat trips and fishing is also available, as well as camping.
The city of Gold Coast is a definite must for the whole family, only an hour-long drive south of Brisbane. As one of the country’s top tourist destinations, it’s the home not only to theme parks and great shopping but also an exceptional beach with plenty of surfing and other open air activities.
